- Tags are now suggested from what an idea sounds like — a guitar, vocals, a piano — and offered when you go to add tags.
- Turn on "Tag new ideas automatically" in Settings and new recordings get those tags without being asked.
- Tap "Idea saved" after recording to go straight to the idea you just made.

- Crop an idea to the part you actually want. Tap Crop, and it snaps to where the sound starts — then drag to move it and pinch to change how long it runs.
- Loop the cropped part, so a phrase can keep going round while you work out the next line.
- Cropping never changes your recording. It only sets what plays, and you can reset it whenever you like.

- Record straight into a song — no more recording, then hunting for it in Ideas.
- Loop playback, so you can keep a phrase running while you work out what comes next.
- Undo a take you just recorded, without leaving the recording screen.
- Tags now start with a set of song parts and genres, and you can rename, recolor or delete any of them.
- The Quick Capture mic turns red while recording, so you can tell from any tab.
- Drag a song's ideas to put them in the order you want — no Edit button needed.
- Swipe an idea inside a song to take it out again. The recording is kept.
- A new Settings screen, where you can read what changed in every update.

- Rename and delete songs — swipe a song, or use the menu inside one.
- Deleting a song keeps its ideas; they simply become ungrouped.
